MADISON (WKOW) -- Dane County law enforcement agencies have once again joined together to make the holidays a littler brighter for those in need.
Dane County Sheriff's deputies will be collecting donations for the annual Operation Toy Tour beginning on Wednesday at the Farm and Fleet store on Stoughton Road. On Thursday, deputies will be collecting at the Farm and Fleet store in Verona.
New unwrapped toys and monetary donations will be accepted from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on both Wednesday and Thursday. Donations can also be left on Friday at the Verona store from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Donations are shared with Dane County families that may otherwise struggle to buy gifts for their children this Christmas. Law enforcement agencies will work with local churches and Joining Forces for Families offices to distribute toys.
