MONROE (WKOW) -- The Green County Sheriff's department is investigating a crash where an officer drove their car into a light pole.
In a news release, the Monroe Police Department says at about 8 p.m. on Saturday, a patrol car driven by Kimberly Quinn, 37, collided with the cement base of a light pole in the Monroe High School parking lot.
There was moderate damage to the 2013 Dodge patrol car.
Officials say it is routine for this type of incident to be investigated by another agency.
