WEST ALLIS (WKOW) -- A couple in West Allis claimed their $1 million Powerball prize.
Mary and Dennis Retterath hit all five numbers, but missed the Powerball in Wednesday's drawing.
Mary says she looked the next day at their ticket and when she saw they didn't get the Powerball right, she kept getting ready for work.
But after hearing on the news that a $1 million ticket was sold in West Allis, she checked the ticket again.
Mary says they can now live debt free.
"To be able to help my children, to be able to pay our bills all off and to enjoy our retirement is going to be a blessing."
Mary says she officially retired Sunday.
After taxes, the Retteraths will receive more than $672,000.
