MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police received numerous calls from citizens reporting hearing shots fired near Myrtle Street.
The calls came in around 10:15 p.m. Monday night.
Officers responding to the area found shell casings near the intersection of Myrtle and North Streets.
One resident reports seeing a car driving and a higher rate of speed heading west on Myrtle just after the gunfire.
There were no reports of injuries or property damage.
