“Field of Honor” documentary film showings in Madison this week

MADISON (WKOW) -- The award winning "Field of Honor" documentary will be shown in Madison this week.

It's story of a community coming together to help give World War II veterans a trip to Washington, D.C. to see their memorial.

The documentary made it's World Premiere at Miller Park on August 11, where it set the World Record for largest audience to view a documentary. It's being nominated for various awards and will be shown nationally.

The film is being showed on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at Marcus Point Cinema, located on Madison's west side. Show times each day are 12:30 p.m., 2:40 p.m., 4:50 p.m., 7:00 p.m., 9:10 p.m.

On Wednesday, Badger Honor Flight is hosting a special showing, with a brief ceremony at 6:30 p.m. before the 7:00 p.m. showing.

Tickets are $10 each and must be purchased in advance. A portion of the ticket price will be donated to Badger Honor Flight.
