Town of Washington (WQOW) - No one is injured following a house fire in Eau Claire County.

A neighbor called to report smoke at a home on McElroy Street in the Town of Washington shortly before 1 p.m. Tuesday. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to an upper floor.

No one was at home at the time of the fire which caused $100,000 worth of damage. The fire department believes an electrical issue caused the fire. Pets near the home were not harmed.

The American Red Cross is assisting the family.
