Eau Claire (WQOW) - Property tax bills will be mailed out later this week and most homeowners in Eau Claire will be paying less.
The owner of a $150,000 home will get a bill for about $3,120. That is down about $35 from a year ago, largely because of a reduction in Eau Claire school taxes. Last year at this time, the average homeowner was staring at a $50 increase on their property tax bill.
