Two Fed Ex vehicles involved in crash along I-94

Eau Claire (WQOW) - Two FedEx vehicles were involved in a crash along Interstate 94 Thursday night.

The Wisconsin State Patrol told WQOW News 18 one of the drivers was transported to Mayo Clinic with minor injuries; the driver in the other vehicle was not hurt. The crash happened between mile marker 53 and 52.  State patrol says both vehicles were traveling westbound; one is a Fed-Ex semi, the other a Fed-Ex delivery truck. State patrol says the semi truck rear ended the delivery truck. Both vehicles ended up in the ditch.

State patrol says one of the vehicles leaked about 25 gallons of fuel. They contacted the DNR.

The right lane of traffic was closed during the cleanup. WQOW News 18 will post more details when they become available.
