MADISON (WKOW) -- Hundreds of twinkling lights cover 60 trees in front of UW Hospital for the annual Love Lights remembrance.
Love Lights are a way for family members to remember and honor loved ones during the holiday season.
White lights are for those who've passed away, and blue honors a living person.
"My mother-in-law passed away exactly 30 days after our granddaughter did, so we hope that they're together somewhere, but this is our way of just acknowledging they were both here," says Susan Greene, who participated in the ceremony on Sunday night.
Money raised through light sales funds UW Hospital programs.
