Adopt-A-Pet: Boondock

Hi folks! My name is Boondock and I am about a year old. I came to the Dunn County Humane Society as a stray in late October. I tend to bark at people who come close when I'm in my kennel, but I'm not a mean dog by any means! My friends saw a window into my past during my neuter surgery when what appeared to be a bullet fragment found between my nose & eye. I don't know why anyone would shoot at me, I just want to love and be loved… that's not too much to ask is it? I'm shy at first, but once I warm up to you, I'll be your best friend for life!

Please check with your homeowners insurance before adopting a ‘bully breed' such as an American Pit Bull Terrier or American Staffordshire Terrier. Some silly insurance company's buy into the media hype about us dogs being bad. Apparently they have never experienced a sloppy happy pit bull kiss! ;-)
