Woman dies in Oshkosh house fire


OSHKOSH (WKOW) -- Authorities identify the victim of a fatal house fire in Oshkosh.

The Oshkosh Northwestern reports the Winnebago County coroner's office determined Randi I. Shaw, 56, died of smoke inhalation. Firefighters were called to her home early Saturday morning, around 4:15 a.m. They found heavy smoke and flames coming from the second floor.

Shaw's body was found on the second floor. A dog was also found dead.

Police say the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
