GREEN BAY (WKOW)) -- A homeless man from Green Bay is convicted of providing heroin that led to another man's death.
The Green Bay Press-Gazette reports Richard G. Kellogg, 22, faces up to 25 years in prison. He'll be sentenced next month. Kellogg pleaded guilty last week to First Degree Reckless Homicide.
Prosecutors say Kellogg gave drugs to Joshua Olson of De Pere, 29 and Olson died. The two met at a rehabilitation center.
The criminal complaint says Kellogg and Olson were preparing to inject heroin in Olson's kitchen. The complaint says Olson injected himself first and collapsed two to three minutes later.
Investigators say Kellogg told police, "Josh couldn't handle the `H."'
Kellogg's defense attorney declined to comment Monday.
