MARQUETTE COUNTY (WKOW) -- Two teenagers are arrested on numerous counts of arson after fires in Marquette and Waushara Counties.
Investigators with the Marquette County sheriff's office believe Jayson A. Reetz, 19, of Ripon and Adam J. Friedl, 17, of Neshkoro are responsible for setting a number of fires intentionally in the Town of Neshkoro, including the Camp Budsin Community Center, a large grain operation building and a residence in both Marquette and Waushara Counties.
The first fire was reported August 19, 2012 in the Town of Neshkoro. Investigators say there was another fire November 24 on State Road 22 in the Town of Neshkoro, then again on November 26 on Czech Lane in Waushara County. The most recent fire was December 4 on County Road E in the Town of Neshkoro.
Reetz and Friedl have appeared in Marquette County Circuit Court. Reetz is being held on a cash bond of $25,000. Friedl was released from jail after posting a $500 cash bond.
Both suspects will appear in court again January 7, 2012.
