MADISON (WKOW) -- Grant County officials arrested a 32-year-old Boscobel man early Sunday morning for his 9th offense of Operating While Intoxicated.
The Sheriff's Department says Aron Hogan was driving around a curve on County G in Muscoda township, when he lost control of the vehicle around 12:06 a.m. Sunday. Officials say Hogan's SUV went into the ditch and rolled several times before coming to rest in a cornfield.
According to authorities, Hogan exited the vehicle and began to flee the scene, but a Muscoda Police officer arrived and detained Hogan. The officer arrested Hogan and transported him to the Grant County Jail without incident.
Hogan was arrested on charges of 9th offense OWI, 2nd offense Operating after Revocation, Ignition Interlock Device violation and Parole Hold. He remains in custody without bond.
Hogan was wearing his seatbelt, but did receive minor injuries in the crash.
Officials say the vehicle is a total loss.
