Eau Claire (WQOW) - While there have been no major injuries following the snow, visits to local emergency rooms have spiked.

Mayo Clinic Health System saw about 20 patients at the hospital in Eau Claire on Monday. The majority had arm injuries from slipping and falling. Several others were involved in crashes, and one reported chest pain after shoveling snow. The ER at Sacred Heart Hospital saw about a dozen patients. Some with chest pains, the rest with injuries from falling.
