SPRINGVILLE (WKOW) -- Very early Wednesday morning, a 911 call was made to the Adams County Sheriff's Office reporting a single-vehicle crash on County Highway Z just south of Fern Avenue.

The preliminary investigation showed a vehicle driven by 27-year-old Jeffrey Hatcher, of Wisconsin Dells, was traveling northbound when it entered the ditch, struck a tree and overturned. Hatcher was fatally injured in the crash.

This incident remains under investigation, although speed and alcohol are believed to be factors.
