MADISON (WKOW) -- Incoming U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin will serve on several Senate committees.
The Congresswoman won Herb Kohl's seat in the November election. When she's sworn in January 3rd, she'll serve on the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, the Budget Committee, and the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs. She will also serve on the Senate Special Committee on Aging.
Baldwin gave up her seat in the U.S. House to run for Senate. The Democrat served six years on the House Budget Committee.
