MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police arrested a wanted suspect Monday afternoon following a slow speed pursuit along the Verona Frontage Road.
Investigators developed probable cause to arrest Mr. Donielle Calhoun after he viciously attacked his girlfriend at the end of November while the couple were parked in a car on Allied Drive.
The 45-year-old victim told police she had been in a relationship with the suspect for a couple of months, however, she knew him as DJ Collins.
During the assault, the woman was bitten all over her body, strangled and punched repeatedly in the face. She was transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
After the assault, Calhoun stole the victim's cell phone and keys. He has been tentatively charged with battery, strangulation, false imprisonment, and theft.
