Hudson (WQOW) - Construction of a major commercial development is expected to start in the spring on the site of a former western Wisconsin rest area.
The development is planned for the site of the former Hudson rest area and tourism center.
On Monday night the Hudson City Council approved re-zoning of the 16 acres of prime real estate along I-94.
That action clears the way for the multi-million dollar project to proceed. Developers who bought the land from the state are planning a retail complex with 10 buildings.
