President Obama set to speak on CT shooting

WASHINGTON (WKOW) -- President Obama is set to give a speech on how the government will respond following the Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting in Newtown Connecticut.
The President will speak at approximately 10:45 a.m. Central Time on Tuesday from the White House. He is expected to outline the steps the government will take going forward on this issue.
Earlier this morning, the White House announced President Obama gave Vice President Joe Biden the task of coordinating the administration's response to the shooting. Biden will oversee the formulation of new policies aimed at reducing gun violence and preventing mass shootings.

Obama is expected to formally announce the Biden-led process at the White House.
