BELOIT (WKOW) – The Beloit Police Department issued 32
municipal citations on Saturday after breaking up an underage alcohol party.
Police were notified of the incident after they received
reports of juveniles darting out into traffic around 2 am on the 2100 block of
Liberty in the City of Beloit.
Upon arrival, officers found an underage alcohol party
taking place and initially had contact with fifth-plus individuals.
During the investigation, the police determined that 30
party-goers were below the age of 21.
Authorities said a total of 32 municipal citations were
issued before those cited were released to a responsible party or on their own because
of their adult status.
