Eau Claire (WQOW) - The winter storm Thursday brought several inches of snow to many parts of Wisconsin, and for the first time this season, created decent conditions for winter activities.

This map from travelwisconsin.com shows the best areas for snowmobiling across our area. The counties shaded in dark blue mean that the conditions are "excellent" for snowmobiling. Snowmobile trails across Wisconsin, including here in Eau Claire County, are now open.
