MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- There will be free bus service in Milwaukee and Waukesha counties again this year on New Year's Eve.
Miller Lite is partnering with Milwaukee County Transit System, Waukesha Metro Transit, Beer Capitol Distributing and law enforcement agencies to offer the program.
The free buses will travel all Milwaukee County routes beginning at 8 p.m. on Dec. 31 and the metro routes in Waukesha County starting at 7 p.m.
Diane Wagner, responsibility commerce manager for MillerCoors, says the program has provided nearly 1.2 million rides since its inception 25 years ago.
