Eau Claire (WQOW) - The alleged ringleader in a rash of high-end house burglaries in Altoona and Eau Claire is going to prison.

Christopher Parker and six others were accused of stealing more than $250,000 in cash from a safe in one home and tens of thousands more in cash and jewelry from others.

Parker was sentenced Friday to 5 years in prison. He was also ordered to pay restitution jointly with the others who were already sentenced.
