Altoona police investigating robbery at Walgreens

Altoona (Press Release) - On December 24, 2012 at 3:55 a.m. a robbery was reported at Walgreens on Hastings Way in the City of Altoona. The suspect showed a note to the pharmacist demanding medications and claimed to be armed. No weapon was displayed. The suspect left with prescription narcotics.

The suspect is described as follows:

White Male
Approximately 6 feet tall
Was wearing a Gray hooded sweatshirt with the word "EVERLAST" on the front, blue jeans, and a white hat under the hood.
Facial hair

Altoona Police were assisted at the scene by Eau Claire Police Department and Eau Claire County Sheriff's Office personnel.
