SHEBOYGAN (WKOW) -- A former volunteer firefighter has been sentenced to six months in jail for setting fire to a Sheboygan area farm.
He set the fire out of boredom in 2011.
Sean Bradley pleaded no contest in October to arson. The fire destroyed two buildings, killed two dogs and destroyed thousands of dollars in equipment at Walvoord's Berry Farm in the Town of Holland.
The 27-year-old was sentenced to six months in jail and four years probation. He was also ordered to pay $9,600 in restitution. He owes an additional $65,000 in restitution as part of a civil judgment.
He was part of the Cedar Grove Fire Department at the time of the August 2011 fire and was among those who responded.
