MADISON (WKOW) -- The Aldo Leopold Nature Center is offering winter break mini-camps while kids aren't in school.
For the rest of this week and next week, the ALNC will offer sessions for ages 5-12.
Friday is "Snow Science" where kids will build snow forts, go snowshoeing, create snow sculptures, make snow paintings and learn how to preserve a snowflake to bring home.
Next week the mini-camps feature Native American Winter Traditions, Winter Survival, Tracks in the Snow and Wild Bird Extravaganza.
