Sammy was born in May 2011 and spent the start of his life in Texas.  He is now adjusting to some chilly Wisconsin weather.  Sammy is small Chihuahua who takes a little while to warm up to everyone.  Remember that most humans are often 32 times larger than this little guy and that can be enough to make anyone nervous!  Getting down to Sammy's level can be difficult, but if you lay on the floor or approach him from the side instead of hovering over him he will be more comfortable with you.  A home without small children would be better for Sammy.  This little boy has the most expressive eyes and cannot wait to snuggle in his new bed in his new home!  Please stop by the Eau Claire County Humane Association and pick him up.
