TOWN OF DUNN (WKOW) -- Two people are injured in a crash in the Town of Dunn.
About 12:41 p.m. on Saturday, Dane County Sheriff's Office deputies along with McFarland EMS, Stoughton EMS and the McFarland Fire Department were dispatched to the intersection of U.S. Highway 51 at Exchange Street, in the Town of Dunn, for a three-car motor vehicle crash with injuries.
Twenty-eight-year-old, Jessica Copus of Stoughton, was operating a Ford Escort and was traveling southbound on Highway 51, when she struck the rear of a Volkswagen Beetle, which was stopped southbound, attempting to turn onto Exchange Street.
Copus's car then entered the northbound lane of traffic and was hit by a Ford SUV.
Copus sustained serious, but non-life threatening injuries and was transported to U.W. Hospital by Med-Flight.
The driver of the Volkswagen Beetle, Janet C. Moore, age 45 of McFarland, sustained minor injuries and was transported to U.W. Hospital by Stoughton EMS. The driver of the Ford SUV, Andrew J. McLain, age 31, of McFarland, did not sustain any injuries.
Copus was cited for Inattentive Driving because of the crash.
