MADISON (WKOW)-- An Argyle man accused of setting a fire that killed his three sons will appear in court this February.
The trial against Armin Wand III is set to begin Feb. 22nd. He faces eight felony counts in connection with starting a fire on Sept. 7th, the most severe being 1st degree intentional homicide.
Prosecutors allege Wand and his brother Jeremy Wand set the house on fire in an effort to wipe out Armin Wand's family because he wanted a fresh start. Armin's three sons were 3, 5, and 7-years-old when they died in the fire. His pregnant wife was able to rescue their 2-year-old daughter, but later suffered a miscarriage and lost the unborn baby.
The brother, Jeremy Wand, also faces multiple charges in connection with the fire. There will be a status conference for his case on February 20th.
