Police: Milwaukee store owner killed by robber

MILWAUKEE (WKOW) – Milwaukee police say a food store owner was killed on Friday after struggling with a masked gunman.

Police identified the man killed as 53-year-old Fawzi Abu-Hamdan.  While Abu-Hamdan was working at the Zara Food Store, a gunman entered the store and demanded money.

Police Inspector William Jessup said no arrests have been made in the incident.  Jessup said the motive of the attack appears to be a robbery but the investigation is ongoing.
