MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- People gathered in Milwaukee for a vigil tonight to pay respects to all of the city's homicide victims in 2012.

Dozens gathered at Ascension Lutheran Church to light a candle and pray in memory of the victims.

Milwaukee Police say there have been 90 homicides in the city this year. There were 85 in 2011.
