MADISON (WKOW) -- Hundreds of seniors in our area will be getting special meals for the new year.
Independent Living created two days-worth of home delivered meals today. Three-hundred seniors will receive a hot meal tonight for New Year's Eve and then a cold meal tomorrow for lunch.
The deliveries not only help feed the elderly, but also serve to check on their general well-being.
The program delivers food to Dane County residents who may be homebound or unable to get dinner for themselves.
All deliveries are made by volunteers.
