Clear Lake (WQOW) - Some people have been known to be disappointed when they don't get a gift they wanted for Christmas, but area police say one woman took her displeasure to the extreme.
Police in Clear Lake were called to a home Saturday night for a report of a disorderly woman.
Amanda Pechaver, 20, was allegedly upset she didn't get a Kindle for Christmas. Her mother told police Pechaver smashed her phone into a table, knocked over the Christmas tree, and threatened to start fires in the house.
She then allegedly bit her mother, twice. Pechaver was arrested for disorderly conduct. Police say alcohol was not a factor in the incident.
