MADISON (WKOW) -- A Madison police spokesperson tells 27 News that Chief Noble Wray will release findings of the department's report on the November officer-involved shooting on Wednesday.

On Monday, spokesperson Joel DeSpain said the chief will hold a news conference on Wednesday, but no time has been released yet.

MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police are still finalizing their report on the November officer-involved shooting.

On Thursday, a Madison police spokesperson said Chief Noble Wray will release results of the department's investigation sometime next week.

Police are looking into whether Officer Stephen Heimsness followed department protocol when he shot and killed Paul Heenan, 30, on November 9th while he was responding to a burglary call.

Dane County District Attorney Ismael Ozanne released his office's report last week, clearing Heimsness of any criminal liability in the incident.
