MADISON (WKOW) – Madison police arrested three people after
a security officer at East Towne Mall was allegedly punched by one of the
suspects.
Officials say the security officer recognized a 16-year-old
female that had been banned from the mall after being arrested there for
disorderly conduct just a week earlier. The officer attempted to talk to the female
and a 16-year-old male companion when 18-year-old Aquille Lowe cut the officer
off with his car.
According to the incident report, the three suspects began
verbally attacking the security officer before Lowe punched him three times in
the face.
Witnesses were able to confirm the attack on the security
officer. Police also recovered stolen
merchandise from a number of stores within East Towne Mall.
