COLUMBUS (WKOW) -- A Columbus restaurant is open again, after authorities arrested the owner last month for selling cocaine at the business.
A Mama Mia's employee confirmed the restaurant reopened on Thursday. Its owner, Vincent Ragonese, 49, was taken into custody on December 23rd, when Columbus police found cocaine and paraphernalia inside.
A Columbia County jail officer told 27 News that Ragonese was no longer in custody on Thursday. Online court records show his bond was set at $500.
When questioned by police, Ragonese admitted to selling cocaine out of his business for the past year. He's charged with maintaining a drug trafficking place and possession of cocaine.
Columbus police were not available for comment on the investigation on Thursday.
