MADISON (WKOW) -- The Bonfyre American Grille hope to reopen next week Wednesday.
A fire in the kitchen's ventilation system has kept the restaurant closed since December 29th.
There has been some delay with the new custom-made system because of the New Year's holiday but manager Alfredo Teuschler says hopefully they'll be ready to go by the middle of next week.
"We had to pitch everything out. You know, all the food product, all the paper product and we have to start it from scratch. As soon as we get the OK hopefully Wednesday from the Health Department.
Once the new system is installed, it will need to pass a series of inspections from various state and city regulators.
