GREEN BAY (WKOW) -- The Packers open the playoffs Saturday with a rematch against the Minnesota Vikings. Friday, the city showed its support for the team.
Fans packed the downtown area for a pep rally Friday afternoon. They say they're extremely excited and confident heading into the game.
"We're going to win our way to New Orleans. I think it's the best thing that happened that the Minnesota Vikings beat us last week, that we maintain momentum and we have another game this week and not a bye week," Wayne Sargent said.
A lot of fans at the rally said they think the Packers' loss to the Vikings will serve as extra motivation for the green and gold.
