Suspect stole several firearms from store in Beaver Dam


BEAVER DAM (WKOW) – Beaver Dam Police are searching for a suspect who stole several firearms after breaking into Fleet Farm early Saturday morning.

The Beaver Dam Police Department responded to Fleet Farm on the 1500 block of North Spring Street in the City of Beaver Dam around 2:11 a.m.

Authorities said a suspect forced entry into the building through a window and shattered a portion of the firearm display case.  Officials said the suspect took several firearms from the establishment and the police will not release the makes and models of the firearms at this time.

The Beaver Dam Police Department was assisted by the Waupun Police Department K9 Unit, Dodge County Sheriff's Department and the scene was processed by the Beaver Dam Police Department Detectives.
