Janesville school administrators could earn raises

JANESVILLE (WKOW) -- Janesville school administrators could get a chance to earn a raise under a proposed incentive pay plan the Janesville School Board is expected to discuss during its next meeting on Tuesday.

The districts 35 administrators covered under the proposal including principals, could earn up to a 6% raise based on skills, ability and performance, as opposed to the current raise system based on experience.

If all the administrators qualified for the 6% raise, it would cost the district $200,000 each year.
