LAKE WISSOTA, Wis. (WKOW) -- A truck fell through the ice Sunday on Lake Wissota, in Chippewa County.

Authorities say the driver was going over a thick patch.

Everyone in the truck was able to make it out safely, but officials say this should serve as a reminder to be extra careful on the ice, especially with warmer temperatures on the way.

The 27 Storm Track weather team is forecasting daily highs from the lower 30s to nearly 40 over the next week.
