McFARLAND (WKOW) -- The public was invited to a visitation for a McFarland couple who died in a car fire last week.
The visitation for Brandon Slattery, 24, and Amy Damon, 21, was held at McFarland High School. The two were found dead inside a burned car early Tuesday morning.
The car was one block from the New Year's party the engaged couple had attended. It's unclear why they stopped or why they couldn't get out of the car.
Police say the fire started in the engine. Their deaths have been ruled accidental.
