CRAWFORD COUNTY (WKOW) -- Four people are hurt and one has died in a crash at the Wisconsin-Iowa border near Prairie du Chien.

The Wisconsin State Patrol reports that a 73-year-old Iowa woman was driving on the Highway 18 bridge crossing the Mississippi River when she crossed into the center line, colliding with another vehicle. She died at the scene.

The 43-year-old driver of the second car was seriously hurt and airlifted to an area hospital. Three others in that car were also injured.
