Home invasion on Madison's southeast side

MADISON (WKOW) -- Multiple officers from the Madison Police Department were called to a home invasion on the southeast side of the city early Sunday morning.

Several adults live at the residence in the 4200 block of Owl Creek Drive.  They say around 3:00 a.m. two men entered the home and demanded money.

One of the robbers was armed with a handgun; the other had a pool cue.  A couple of the victims were struck with the cue, but no serious injuries were sustained.

The suspects took off with an Xbox video game console.

Authorities believe the intruders likely targeted the home.

The are described as both black males in their 20's.  One suspect had a muscular build and was wearing a brown or black hoodie, dark jeans, gray skull cap, and had a blue do-rag over his face.  The other was wearing a gray hoodie and dark pants.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Madison Area Crime Stoppers at 608-266-6014.
