JANESVILLE (WKOW) – The Janesville Police Department is looking for a dog that bit an 8-year-old child in the face Friday night.
Authorities said the incident occurred in the area of W. Holmes Street and Lincoln Street around 8:15 p.m.
According to the police report, the 8-year-old child was walking with an adult when the dog came from an unknown direction and bit the child in the face. The dog ran from the area and the child received 10 stitches at a local hospital.
Authorities said the description of the dog is a mixed breed, black and brown in color and a medium size.
