Pedestrian injured after being hit by car


MADISON (WKOW) -- A 50-year-old man suffered a broken leg after being hit by a car Friday night.

According to the Wisconsin State Journal, Madison Police Lt. Cory Nelson said a man was injured after he attempted to cross the road against a red light near Verona Road and Atticus Way around 7:20 p.m.

Nelson said the man is expected to be cited for sudden pedestrian movement.
