Man suffers lacerations after jumped on Madison's south side


MADISON (WKOW) – Madison Police are looking for four men involved in a strong armed robbery late last night that left a man with lacerations to his hand and face.

According to the Madison Police Department, the incident happened just before midnight on the south side of Madison near W. Badger Road and S. Park Street.

Police said the 38-year-old victim was jumped by four males who stole the victim's cell phone. 

Authorities said the victim sustained a laceration to his hand and face and a cut to the back of his head.  The victim was taken to a local hospital where he received medical attention and was released.

Police said the victim was unable to provide any further description of the four male suspects.
