MADISON (WKOW) -- Home schooling is an option that some parents and families consider and if you want more information about local programs there's an event going on to help out.
The Monona Public Library hosts the "Parenting Workshop: The Basics of Home Schooling." The event will be on Monday, January 14 at 6:00 p.m. at the Monona Public Library at 1000 Nichols Road.
You can learn about different approaches to home schooling, resources in the community and common myths.
A representative from the program joins Wake Up Wisconsin Weekend to discuss local home schooling options.
