Eau Claire (WQOW) - A former Eau Claire doctor accused of sexually assaulting patients now faces even more charges.
The Eau Claire County district attorney filed two new counts Tuesday against Dr. David Van de Loo. That brings the total number of charges to 17.
The latest allegations include claims the former Mayo Clinic Health System Eau Claire pediatrician sexually assaulted a teenaged boy during a medication check five years ago. He said he didn't realize it was out of the ordinary until he saw another doctor who said he would never do a genital exam for a medication check.
Investigators say the other alleged victim said Van de Loo touched him inappropriately and asked him numerous questions about pornography.
On Tuesday in court Van de Loo waived his right to a preliminary hearing. He will return to court soon to enter a plea to the charges.
